On April 20, the Student Council held their first blood drive in a while. The United Blood Services came to the Springlake-Earth High School to get some blood donations from the Juniors and Senior who were of age, and from any of the town's people who wanted to contribute. We had a good turnout from the blood drive. We had 38 people show up who donated blood, but due to some problems, eight of those people were unable to donate. We have already set September 13 to be our next date for a blood drive. The drive will be indoors to have more room for our donors. Our goal is to have at least 25 donors. We are also planning another drive, but the date is undecided.
The Student Council put out posters to inform the town about the blood drive.
