On Friday, Jan. 30, Student Council and FCCLA members attended SUMMIT (Students Uniting to Make Meaningful Influences Together) in Lubbock. The purpose of this convention was to give ideas to promote drug, alcohol, and health awareness in our schools. At SUMMIT was Straight Way, a group who brings the message of how to make good choices to thousands of Texas students a year. They do this through singing, dancing, rapping, and drama.
