In 2003, the Springlake-Earth Student Council sponsored the building of the Veterans Wall. This wall was dedicated to the men and women who served in the military. The wall is located on the school campus, between the high school and technology buildings. The school campus is also conveniently located between the two communities of Springlake and Earth. Now, in 2004, Mrs. Lostroh (Student Council sponsor) helped write a grant to the Lubbock Avalanche Journal and the Make Kids Count foundation for $500 to use for landscaping around the wall.
