Mrs. Elaine Brownd is a second grade teacher at Springlake-Earth and graduated from Springlake-Earth in 1979. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech in 1990. She holds endorsements for Kindergarten, ESL, Reading, and Computer Literacy. She married Dickie Brownd in 1980. They have three children: Greg and his wife Lauren live in New Braunfels; Becky and her husband Cory live in Muleshoe; and Jennifer is a junior at Springlake-Earth. They also have a grandaughter, Paisleigh Marie, who was born in July 2007. Her hobbies include cooking for all of her family at holidays, watching Reba on TV, playing with Paisleigh, helping lead the Methodist Youth group, and watching all the high school sports activities.
