This year the UIL One-Act Play cast will be performing the play Amber Waves. Amber Waves focuses on the children in a farm family struggling with financial and spiritual despair while trying to hold on to their farm and each other. "No other play or movie has zeroed in so well on the effects these problems have had on the chilren of farm families while . . . making the case for the special place of farming in our nation's well-being. Its themes could be just as applicable or any other occupations that suffer drastic downturns."-Washington Times
This year's One-Act Play cast will consist of:
