The 40-minute test will consist of 60 objective-type questions designed to test knowledge and understanding in Algebra I, Algebra II, geometry, trigonometry, math analysis, analytic geometry, pre-cal, and elementary calculus. Questions will be multiple choice and contestants will be allowed the use of silent hand-held calculators that do not need external wall plugs.

Four individuals may enter the district contest, with the three students with the top overall scores making the math team.
