Mr. R. M. wants to teach and coach because he had really good teachers, and he wants to influence students and teach them something about life. After working in the cotton gin with his dad in the summer, he decided to go to college. He started majoring in computers but changed to coaching and teaching. He encourages us to major in something we really like in college. R.M. likes all sports. His favorite is football, although his favorite class at Texas Tech University was soccer. He would like to coach football and track. He would also like to teach Spanish or Special Education in Junior High or High School. When R.M. was in Springlake-Earth Elementary he and his friends would go to the playground after school, put on a black trash bag for a cape, swing really high, jump out, and try to fly. He doesn't recommend trying that because it does not make you fly!
