In Algebra I, students begin the study of abstract mathematics and are concerned with

variable expressions and the laws of exponents, polynomials, solving and graphing

equations and solving systems of equations. We also connect algebra with practical

uses.

Algebra II

taught by Mrs. Barbara Huckabee

Algebra II deals with very abstract ideas. In it, we extend algebra into the realms of matrices, complex numbers, equations of conic sections, derivation and uses of logarithms, geometric and arithmetic sequences, and beginning statistics and trigonometry.
