Course Description: In Integrated Physics and Chemistry students:

• conduct field and laboratory investigations
• use scientific methods during investigations
• make informed decisions using critical thinking and scientific problem solving

This course integrates discipline of physics and chemistry in the following topics:

• motion
• waves
• energy transformations
• properties of matter
• changes in matter
• solution chemistry

Upon completion of this course, the student should have a foundation and knowledge of the Physical Sciences and be prepared for a more in depth study of Physics or Chemistry.
