7th Grade Texas History

During the fifth six weeks, we have studied the first three presidential seats of the Republic of Texas.

We analyzed the differences of how President Burnet, President Houston, and President Lamar established their offices as Presidents.

The class was divided into three groups. One group was the office of Burnet, another group was the office of Houston, and the last group was the office of Lamar. Each office was asked to write an article of how they were handling the situations of Texas.

In conclusion of their articles, each group described the similarities of their President to the situations of the candidates running for the office of the United States President.
