Coach Hulett is currently in his fourteenth year at Springlake-Earth, and since taking over the program in 1987, he has led the Wolverines to the playoffs eleven of his thirteen here. He led his team to three quarter-final appearances and to the regional round twice. Coach Hulett has been named South Plains Coach of the Year twice, and was elected into the Top-O-Texas Hall of Fame in 1997. He has made the Springlake-Earth football program one of the most successful small school programs in the state of Texas over the last decade. On September 24, 1999, Coach Hulett gained his 100th victory as the Wolverine Head Coach and is currently holding a record of 112-43-4. Coach Hulett is currently backed by his assistant coaches--Kent Bode (Defensive Coordinator), Robert Guinn (Offensive & Defensive End Coordinator), Brandon Smith (Defensive Coordinator, Secondary Teams Coordinator), and Jarod Bellar (Assistant Defensive Coordinator, Offensive Line Coach).
