Texas Association of Student Council State Meeting
Six Springlake-Earth students were among the 4000 students from Texas who attended the Student Council State Convention in Austin April 26-28, 2001. Seniors who attended were Ida, Haylee, and Crystal. Members who will be leading the local organization next year who attended were Laura, Becky, and Guthry. Karl Vaughn, high school principal and local sponsor, accompanied the group. The local students attended general assemblies and workshops presented by high schools from across the state.
