The Best mission is to inspire students to pursue careers in engineering, science, and technology through participation in a sports-like, science and engineering-based robotics competition.

Our theme for 2008 is “Just Plane Crazy!” and it is pretty crazy! Our mission objective is to build a robot that can deliver airplane parts from the hangar to the assembly area to, you guessed it, assemble the aircraft. Once the plane is completed, we are to transport the aircraft to the flight deck and attempt liftoff by lifting it approximately four feet in the air and attaching it to a magnetic mobile suspended above the playing field.

Our local Hub Competition will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Estacado High School in Lubbock, TX. If we advance to the regional level, we will be headed to the Univeristy of North Texas in Denton. We need all the support and spirit we can get, so mark your calendars and come support us!!
