Welcome to the section of our paper devoted to student exploration of historical events from 1908 (the year our school was built) to the present. Our Primary students in First and Second Grades engaged in a Unit of Study about our great state of Texas while our Kindergarteners studied community helpers. Our Junior High students studied the three presidential seats of the Republic of Texas under the direction of their teacher, Coach Smith. High School students explored the differences between our school in 1929 and today as revealed in the pages of the 1929 edition of the school paper, "The Springlake Siren".
