100th Day of School

The first grade students recently celebrated the 100th day of school. To aid in our celebration, we made 100 Day head-bands, glasses, sang the "100 Day of School" to the tune of Jingle Bells, and made a 100 Day quilt-with each square having 100 items drawn on it. We continued our celebration by reading 100 words, doing 100 math facts, making a wish book of 100 things we wish we had, tracing and coloring dot-to-dot pictures which counted by 2's, 5's, and 10's to 100. We also read "100 Ants", "100 Days of School" and"I'll Teach My Dog 100 Words." To end the day, we brought 100 snack items, e.g. cheerios, marshmallows, pieces of candy, crackers, etc.

First Grade had a wonderful time celebrating the 100th day of school.
