Mary Jones received both her bachelors and masters degrees from Texas Tech University and taught one year at Muleshoe before joining the Springlake-Earth faculty in 1985. She teaches 7th and 8th grade reading, Reading I, II, and III, English I Pre-AP, and Web Mastering, the class responsible for the online newspaper. Mary and her husband, Jerry, have two sons and a daughter. Kyle and his wife Kelly and their children, Karlee and Karson, live in Earth, as do Craig and his wife Jeanie and their children, Devin and Katy. They are all involved in the farming industry. Michelle lives in Dallas, Texas, where she attends Dallas Theological Seminary and works at Weir's Furniture. In her spare time, Mary enjoys being with her grandchildren, reading, walking, remodeling, and learning more about web design.
