Dear Soldier, Sailor, Airmen, or Marine

First of all, I’d like to thank you for what you’re doing for the country and the people of the United States. You’re putting your life on the line for all of us.

I live in the small town of Earth, Texas. I like to hang out with my friends, play basketball, run track, and play pool and ping pong. Other than that, there is nothing to do in a town of a little over 1300 people. When I’m older, I would like to enroll in the Air Force Academy.

If you want to write back, there are a couple of things I’d like to know about you. I would like to know what branch of the military you are in and what is your rank? What type of job do you have? Are you an engineer, pilot, or a foot soldier? Are you a male or female?

Once again thank you for doing everything you’re doing. I imagine you are a great person. Remember this “… The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of Liberty loving people everywhere march with you… We will accept nothing less than full victory.”- Dwight D. Eisenhower, June 6, 1944.

                                                                                                Yours truly,

                                                                                                Blake
